After reviewing the design choices in my Microsoft PowerPoint tool, I have chosen the Opulent Design.  It has the colors scheme that most appeals to me.  I would like to use a variety of layouts, as each slide of my presentation will have different needs I think I should be adaptable to the information for each slide.  The basic template will be fine for my presentation.  I plan on using clip art, font styles and color schemes to dress up my presentation.  The font I would like to use is called Office Classic, which is a combination of Arial and Times New Roman.  I believe these fonts are easy to read and acceptable to most viewers.  Lastly, I chose purple for my color scheme.  Amethyst happens to be my favorite color, but I also chose because of a Psychology article I read about how the color purple makes people feel.  About.com posted the article by Kendra Van Wagner.  It is an article that uses reader responses on what purple makes you feel.  The color is the one item I researched and wanted to be very specific on.  Many studies have been done on how color affects people.  I wanted a color that would inspire the emotions I would like my audience to have, and obviously that color is purple.  You can read the article at http://psychology.about.com/od/colorpsychology/a/purple_res.htm.
